Back in 1991, the Song received almost immediate acclaim from many people, magazines, record labels , etc,.. and Hagins found himself fielding "offers" as well as trying to both describe the Sound of the Song as well as the over all "Sound" OF G.E. !! "WELL ,..CLEARLY the song was some new kind of "Alternative rock" and we had always called ourselves "Grunge" and we would always say : "We're not heavy metal ,..We are like Neil Young, THE STOOGES, or the Who or something like that,..but mixed with Black Flag !!"
